A free felt piano from Somerville Sounds, played in Standalone plugin.
Dusty Felts is a plugin built on Jon Meyer's earlier Kawai felt piano samples. The upright was recorded with two velocity layers. The sound was then passed through an old Ampex 600 tube amplifier for added noise and grain. You can add wow and flutter and set how much amp hiss you hear. The result is warm, muffled and a little worn, like a felt piano heard on an old tape. It suits memories, flashbacks and quiet home scenes. Two velocity layers give it a narrow dynamic range. The noise is part of the character, so it is less suited to a clean, modern sound.
Worth knowing: It is its own plugin, so you do not need Kontakt or another sampler. It is pay what you want, and $0 is accepted at checkout.
