A free upright piano from KeyPleezer, played in SFZ player.
This is a small, free SFZ edition of KeyPleezer's LivingRoom Upright, a vintage-character upright piano. It uses the close microphone from the full library, placed just above the keys near the hammers. The result is detailed and intimate, with a bright top end that may need a little EQ. There are two velocity layers, each sampled with the pedal up and down, in 132 FLAC samples. It suits close, personal scenes and indie or lo-fi cues. At 107 MB it is light to load, but two layers and a single mic give less range than the larger editions.
Worth knowing: A direct zip download. Load it in a free SFZ player such as Plogue sforzando. The Kontakt edition is a separate download that needs an email address.
